The multi-helicopter coordinated TT&C data link and the ground control software for controlling multiple helicopters by one ground control station are configured to support remote startup. It is capable of planning for formation pattern, safety distance warning, high-accuracy positioning, terrain clearance measurement, and switchover between different control modes, by virtue of which, coordinated control over multi-helicopter formation flight becomes feasible. When loading payloads of 100 kg, it can fly over 2 hours in plains for executing miscellaneous missions such as cargo transportation, agriculture, forestry, and plant protection, captive flight test with heavy equipment, and reconnaissance and strike.

Space for installing the large-size payload, multi-channel 28 VDC power supply interfaces, and payload TT&C communication interfaces are reserved. Therefore, this helicopter can carry diversified mission payloads which support rapid reloading, thus featuring strong multi-mission capability.

Intelligent Control and Easy to Use

This helicopter enjoys high intelligent control level. With multifarious sensors and situational awareness equipment, it can implement nearest forced landing, avoidance of no-fly zone, response and control in case of gust, and other control functions. By virtue of the cooperation among the smart ground control station, LoS data link, BeiDou short message, 4G/5G mobile communication, and ground control software, the whole flight process can be monitored. This method is easy to use and the operation and maintenance cost is low.
